I am absolutely thrilled to announce I will now be representing ViewRanger as their UK Adventure Racing ambassador.
As one of the leading global GPS navigation apps this partnership fits perfectly with all my activities – whether I am out on the bike, running, mountaineering or more I can’t wait to discover all the features ViewRanger has to offer.
For those of you who are not familiar with ViewRanger, they help active people, like me, navigate, record, and share outdoor experiences. With high-quality mapping for over 20 different countries, active GPS waypoint navigation, national and international trail guides, and sports computer functionality, the app is designed to work in areas with no phone or data coverage which is great for when you are out in the most remote of locations.
Over the coming months I will be sharing all the tips and tricks on how to get the most out of this awesome app. From locating your friends using a feature called BuddyBeacon, to linking photos and tweets from your adventure to your tracks and sharing them on social media, there is so much you can do!
As the companies first brand ambassador I am also really excited to use ViewRanger to help me through some of the toughest challenges I have ever taken on, including the skyrunning ultramarathon, Lakes Sky Ultra. From adventures around the UK to further afield I can’t wait to be able to share all my routes and tracks with you all – a much easier method than trying to draw/describe some of my more random explorations! Throughout this I will also be providing the ViewRanger team with feedback on the app, helping continue its development.
